THE QUESTION:

What is it like to be gay or lesbian, bisexual or transgendered (GLBT) in America today?  As our national political and religious climate turns increasingly polarized, I grow more and more convinced that we need to hear stories about real people living real lives.

Knowing that we come from all different political stripes and religious persuasions, I especially hope we'll stick together for this adventure and for what we might learn by joining our conversation.

THE RIDE:

On June 14th,  I will begin a month-long solo unicycle ride to explore beyond the divisive issues of gay marriage and seek the stories of everyday GLBT people in America.

Security is mostly a superstition.
It does not exist in nature.
Life is either a daring adventure,
or it is nothing.
